Importing a listing

Bring your listings into ReeltyGenie from a spreadsheet or a list of property links.

Every video starts from a listing. You can import many at once from a spreadsheet, or paste links to listings that are already online.

Prepare your listings

Choose whichever is easier:

  • A spreadsheet: a .csv, .xlsx, .xls or .txt file with one listing per row.
  • Property links: links to public listing pages, one per line.

A spreadsheet needs one column with the full street address. Other columns are optional and fill in details:

ColumnExample
Address (required)123 Ocean Ave, Miami, FL 33139
StateFL
Price850000
Bedrooms (or beds)3
Bathrooms2
Square footage1850
MLS IDA11234567
Zillow URLA link to the Zillow listing
Listing URLA link to the public listing page

Column names aren't case-sensitive. If you include a listing URL, ReeltyGenie imports from that page first and uses Zillow only to fill in anything missing.

tip

On the import page, choose Download sample CSV to start from a file that already has the right columns.

Start the import

  1. Open Import in the app's sidebar, or choose Import CSV on Listings.
  2. Drop your file onto the page or choose it from your computer. Or paste your links into Or paste property links, one per line.
  3. Choose Start import.

Follow the import

The import page shows its progress: Reading your file, then Preparing your listings, then Your listings are ready. You can leave the page while it runs; processing continues and the results update on their own.

Each listing is sorted into a group:

  • Ready for video: everything needed is in place. You can create a reel from it.
  • Needs attention: some details are missing. Open the listing and choose Edit Manually to fill them in. Editing listing details shows how.
  • Preparing: still being processed.
  • Waiting for quota: the listing is queued and will finish preparing later.

Addresses you've already imported are skipped, so you won't get duplicates.
